It all started in the early 2003, when
Dr. Hasanain S
Ja’far (the Owner) expressed his wish to build a professional standard
site about Iraq. A site that any one can refer to for any information
needed about Iraq, and it was IraqWho.com
The idea was to promote the image of Iraq, provide the best historical,
and most recent, most accurate information about Iraq, in brief to get a
“one stop solution” for anything Iraqi.
We had to search libraries, books,
references and various other sources to bring this work to your
satisfactions.
Iraqwho contains a few hundred pages of history covering 7000 years of
civilization, a thorough study of Iraqi culture and heritage, various
types of maps and a photo gallery of about 1000 rare photographs.
On behalf of all those who spent long hours working to see “Iraqwho”
becomes a reality, we call upon all Iraqis and those who enjoy this site
to participate. Your participation can be either in adding a photo,
document, information, or merely by giving your honest opinion.
